Shoulder & Arm Pain
Shoulder and arm pain
Despite having a high degree of mobility, the shoulder joint frequently has to bear substantial loads when we lift, carry, or undertake repetitive tasks at work or home.
Normal shoulder joint and muscle motion is linked to the neck and upper back mobility. All of the following ailments are frequently observed and treated successfully in the clinic:
a) Injuries to the rotator cuff: Also known as shoulder impingement, subacromial bursitis, tendinitis, tendinosis or tendinopathy;
b) Frozen Shoulder: Also known as Adhesive Capsulitis;
c) Cervical disc injury with radiculopathy: Also referred to as a herniated disc, prolapsed disc, slipped disc, or disc bulge;
d)Tennis or Golfer’s Elbow: Often referred to as lateral or medial epicondylitis.
Chiropractic therapy is useful in restoring function, minimising discomfort and restriction brought on by disorders affecting the shoulder’s joints and muscles.
Dr Abie’s treatments are also effective in treating all the conditions above which often cause arm pain.
